Well,that was us tonight. We had our first experience with a line of thunderstorms.
It rolled through as we were finishing dinner. There was the usual lightning and thunder and rain.
Most of the storm just missed us to the West.
Due to the lightning we had the scouts move from underneath the big dining fly with the big metal poles. We got them into tents (there are not buildings near us) to ride it out.
The light show was impressive but we only got enough rain to wet down the dusty trails and roads. The big benefit was the lower temperatures!
