A Scout is Reverent and Sunday Activities

Sunday for many is a day of rest. 

Throughout the Jamboree the many religious faiths have held their respective services. 

We have been sharing information and times with all the Scouts. 

We have emphasized that the 12th point of the Scout Law is "Reverent."  Also, the Scout Oath has. "Duty to God."

One item for your reference as a parent. The Scouting Advancement guide for Rank has some very clear expectations on a Scout being Reverent and demonstrating Reverence. This is especially important at the rank of Eagle. 

Now, I led off that today is a day of rest. However, due to the change in schedule Saturday, the volunteer staff offered ton open up activity areas so Scouts could have fun. Today is also the Jambo-Palooza. This is some sort of gathering to just have fun. So, between these two things the Scouts should have a good day. 

I close this post as more rain is falling. No big storm but a light rain. The Scouts as having fun and we keep telling them that these big storms are usually the memories they will recall 20 years from now.
