They cooked in muddy conditions due to the intermittent rain all day.
We have has about a three hour break in the rain but another line of storms are headed our way.
We are glad that the rain held off until now. When we visited Sub-camp A 1 we found troops in much worse shape than us. The operations folks gave us one bale of hay to spread around to help with the water and mud. Down in A1 I visited a troop that got ten bales of hay and it was still very wet and muddy.
The scouts are surviving. These are the events that they will remember later in life. They will look back and fondly recall the Jambo 2013 Mud Bowl!
